What is a HydraFacial?

HydraFacial uses a patented technology that can simultaneously cleanse, exfoliate, clear congested pores and deliver nourishing serums, all in less than 30 minutes.

During the procedure, dead skin cells and impurities are removed, while serums are applied to the skin to target a range of skin concerns. The serums that are used during the procedure increase the uptake of antioxidants in the skin when compared to manually applying creams to the skin.

In addition to instantly noticeable results after each treatment you will also experience longer lasting results with a short series of HydraFacial treatments.

What can it be used for?

HydraFacial is an effective option for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, congested and large pores, oily or acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation, and brown spots. The treatment is non-invasive, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
The overall goal of the treatment is to improve the health of the skin and to achieve a clear, glowing appearance.

The treatment targets many of the most common skincare concerns like dryness and signs of ageing with little to no side effects. The serums used alongside the treatment’s cleaning and exfoliation have anti-ageing and antioxidant properties and are tailored to address the specific needs of every person’s skin.

What are the Steps of a HydraFacial?

HydraFacial treatments consist of four distinct steps, all performed in the 30 minute treatment.

1. Cleanse & Peel

While traditional microdermabrasion uses crystal or another abrasive solution to exfoliate the skin, which can be uncomfortable and harsh on sensitive skin, a HydraFacial uses the special vacuum-based abrasion tip along with a special solution for a much gentler treatment.
This means that the treatment is soothing while still very effective, and requires no downtime.

Your face might tingle slightly, as a chemical peel is applied to the skin. It’s a gentler version of a traditional peel, and the blend of glycolic and salicylic acids deliver a peel’s effects without significant redness or skin scaling after treatment.

2. Extract & Hydrate

After another serum is applied, the extraction tip works to pull out whatever is clogging pores, be it dirt, dead skin, or acne-causing oil. This process applies powerful, yet gentle suction through the HydraFacial’s vacuum-based tip, extracting all the debris from your pores without grazing the skin.

3. Infuse & Protect

Finally, the skin is infused with a special medical-grade serum rich in antioxidants and peptides. This serum is designed to even skin tone, firm and tighten, as well as hydrate.

Refresh your lips & eyes with HydraFacial Perk

Victoria’s offers HydraFacial Perk Serums as an add-on to any HydraFacial to increase the skin perking results for the eyes or lips.

Both serum options involve an in-clinic application of the serum, as well as a take home serum which can be applied for up to 30 days to extend your results.

These treatments can be included with any HydraFacial as an add-on, or as a standalone treatment.

Show your lips some love

Your lips require more care than the rest of your body. With some of the thinnest skin on the body, the lips can be especially prone to damage and dehydration.

The HydraFacial Perk Lip treatment revitalises your lips with key ingredients like peppermint oil and peony extract – leaving your lips refreshed, hydrated and lightly plumped.

Awaken your delicate eye area

Some of the first signs of ageing show up around the eye where the skin is extremely delicate and prone to thinning, fine lines and wrinkles.

The HydraFacial Perk eye treatment brightens and refreshes your outer-eye area with key ingredients like horse chestnut seed extract and arnica flower extract – leaving the delicate area toned, firmed and hydrated.
