What Is The CoolSculpting® Procedure?
The CoolSculpting® procedure uses round, rectangular paddles that suction onto your skin and fat cells like a vacuum. This technology targets and crystallises (kills) fat cells and remarkably induces a 25% fat reduction in a single CoolSculpting® cycle.
The procedure generally requires up to 45 minutes per area and patients report little to no discomfort. CoolSculpting® is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately.
Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely.
Overall patients have not described this procedure as unsettling. Results are noticeable within a few weeks and continue to improve over 3 – 4 months.
