Anne has spent the last 25 years using her personal and career experience to help clients improve their own self-esteem and confidence by addressing the little things about their skin that might be annoying them.
Anne’s dream as a little girl was to be a registered nurse. She achieved her goal straight after schooling by commencing nursing training in 1974 at St Vincents Hospital Launceston.
Very happy in her role as a registered nurse for many years both at St Vincents (1974 – 1980) and St Lukes (1984 – 1998) Launceston she then went through some personal challenges after which an exciting job opportunity was presented that was to change her direction in life.
In 1999 whilst still within the scope of nursing, she set up and ran a cosmetic day surgery unit for plastic surgery at The Roman Baths Launceston. The field of plastic surgery and aesthetics was a very new area of treatments in the late 1990’s. Anne grasped this area with enthusiasm and set about learning and training to increase her knowledge and skills to be able to introduce this field confidently to the people of Launceston. During this time she did volunteer work with Interplast in Funafuti and Borneo as part of a Plastic Surgical Team.
Recognising that knowledge, skills, safety, quality and trust are some of the keys to a successful business. She has since developed a business model that has seen Victoria’s Cosmetic Medical Clinic grow in strength and reputation since 2002.
She also recognises that there is no single approach that works for everyone and continues to educate herself with ongoing and emerging therapies and skills to provide the most comprehensive program that works for each client’s individual needs.
Anne’s skills in this field are extensive and ongoing. She is a specialist in
2023 Anne’s latest exciting addition is the purchase of our own place of business at 12 Penquite Road Newstead.
She is also introducing our beauty services as a mobile service to the people of Launceston who just cannot make it to the clinic to have those necessary things done.
Anne is totally dedicated to the ongoing quality service to our clients.
